T1 Diams offers a variety of psychosocial services to help, motivate and empower our beneficiaries – personalized therapy, social aid in case of necessity, social support with public institutions, and awareness for the rights of people living with type 1 diabetes.

Type 1 diabetes requires a follow-up with different health professionals to prevent or treat complications. T1 Diams provides a network of recommended professionals to respond to specific needs of each beneficiary.

T1 Diams is a proud advocate for the rights of people living with type 1 diabetes in Mauritius. Our association takes the initiative to raise awareness on a large scale, the goal being to dismantle taboos and assumptions around diabetes. We also advocate to public institutions for a better understanding of the rights and needs of this community.
